Rupture

A man receives a break-up letter from his sweetheart, who sends him back his photo, in pieces. The pained lover decides to reply. Fountain pen, desk, stamps, paper and inkwell all contrive diabolically to thwart him. To top it off, the young man’s rocking chair sends him flying out the window.
