Press Center
During the festival, from 10 AM to 6 PM, the accredited journalists will have daily access to the Press Center, located at the French Institute (22nd Ion I. C. Bratianu Street, Cluj-Napoca). The press center offers:
- Offices and connectors for personal laptops
- WiFi
You can also get support from the Press Center for:
- Getting your press accreditation badge and information on how to use;
- Information about the festival, including those dedicated to the press;
- Space for interviews with festival guests.
Press Conferences
The program of press conferences organized throughout the festival will be made public in the Press Center along with all the necessary details - location, access, special conditions. This information will also be e-mailed to all the accredited journalists.
Other debates and meetings with some of the TIFF's special guests will be organized at the TIFF Lounge and announced appropriately after the festival begins. Access to these meet-ups is unrestricted.
Interviews
Journalists can request individual interviews with guests or the TIFF team, through the Press Office or via e-mail. We encourage you to include as much details as possible in the request (duration of the interview, possible approach topics etc.). Accepting an interview depends solely on the desire and schedule of the guests.
Journalists will receive an answer to their requests, by phone and in writing, as well as information about the next steps. Requests can be sent by email to [email protected], starting June 5th.
Photo & Video
Journalists are encouraged to make their own photo-video materials, but if this is not possible, the festival's press team can help.
Requests for photos from certain events or with certain guests can be addressed via e-mail ([email protected]) or directly to the Press Center. Their use is free, but the journalist has the obligation to mention copyright of the author.
