On Saturday, May 31, at 10 PM, at Casa TIFF, the audience will be able to enjoy a less than ordinary musical performance based on unconventional instruments improvised from old toys, reconditioned trash, various objects and weird inventions.

Another original show comes from Poland: Male Instrumenty / Small Instruments. On Saturday, May 31, at 10 PM, at Casa TIFF, the audience will be able to enjoy a less than ordinary musical performance based on unconventional instruments improvised from old toys, reconditioned trash, various objects and weird inventions. Their music is unique and surprising, the five members of the band being always in search of new objects and sounds. Consequently, on May 31, in the afternoon, they will also hold an improvised workshop about musical instruments in Bonțida, as part of the Weekend at the Castle program. There, they will meet with various folk musicians and villagers who will introduce them to the local instruments. The five Polish musicians will learn how to make it and use it in their shows.

The band, created in 2006, toured the biggest cites of Europe with live shows featuring Nino Rota's or Ennio Morricone's music. In 2010, Male Instrumenty recorded Chopin's music using its whole collection of over 70 toy pianos. Pawel Romanczuk, the leader and founder of the band is the author of the first book ever written about the history of the toy piano.
